The Chinese new year is tomorrow and the day after tomorrow! Two days. Tomorrow is the end of the Year of the Pig (2007), according to the Chinese lunar calendar, and the day after tomorrow is the first day of the Year of the Mouse(2008). So we have two days for celebration. At this moment of writing this letter, I can hear the firecrackers just outside. Kids are playing joyfully and run here and there, shouting, which makes me remember my childhood! Oh! How sweet it is!
Professor Chen Likai (Translator of The Truth, I’m a Girl, I’m Smart and I Know Everything! into the Chinese version.)
How sweet is it, to remember pleasant and significant times from our past. I hope you have the pleasure of doing do, as Likai has had. Also, look for a special event with The Truth! I’ll be posting some of the Chinese translations! What fun. Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein, www.enchantedself.com
