FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  Enchantment Expert Joins Jewish Women’s Web Ring

Ocean, NJ – March 2002:  Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein, Author, Life Coach, and Originator of THE ENCHANTED SELF, was recently accepted by the Jewish Women's WebRing.  The web ring can be accessed via http://a.webring.com/hub?ring=jewishwomen&id=37&hub or simply by going to Dr. Holstein’s own site at www.enchantedself.com and clicking on the banner at the bottom of her home page.

This web ring consists of web sites by and for Jewish women.  Some of these sites are maintained by businesses, which are run by Jewish women.  Others are dedicated to general information on the Jewish faith and famous figures in Jewish history, organizations and personal web sites.  The goal of this web ring is to provide a wholesome group of sites that can be viewed by the entire family.

Dr. Holstein hosts a business and informational web site that offers up various stories and articles that focus on the Jewish faith and how they relate to her concepts of ‘enchantment’.  This material can also be found in her books, print newsletters, and e-zines.

Dr. Holstein has been a psychologist in private practice since 1981.  Through the practice that she shares with her husband, Dr. Russell Holstein, they have created a long overdue shift in psychology by emphasizing what's right with us, rather than what's wrong.  She offers a new way of looking at your life ... your own 'enchanted self'.  Her goal is to inspire and encourage you to achieve your positive states of mind, body, and spirit. 

Dr. Holstein's approach to therapy is positive psychology, which can be achieved through exploring positive, rather than negative memories.  Dr. Holstein’s belief is that it isn’t enough to discover and solve our problems.  In her words, “we also need to look at how our accomplishments and joys could be applied productively to all aspects of our lives, even our most difficult challenges.”  It is through the uncovering of happy experiences, that she believes people can achieve true fulfillment.
